Affiliate Income Calculator
Estimate affiliate earnings from the number of clicks, the conversion rate and the commission paid on each sale.
Recent
Formula
How the calculation works
The calculator multiplies the number of clicks by the conversion rate and divides by one hundred to get the number of sales.
It then multiplies those conversions by the commission paid per sale to give the total affiliate income.
Dividing the income by the number of clicks gives the effective commission, which shows the value of each visitor.
Common mistakes
- Assuming a high conversion rate that fits an established audience, since new traffic usually converts far lower.
- Ignoring that commissions reverse when a customer returns the product, which reduces the income actually paid out.
When to use it
- Affiliates use it to check whether a campaign earns enough to justify the traffic and content it needs.
- Bloggers and reviewers use it to compare commission offers before choosing which product to promote.
Worked example
With 5000 clicks converting at 2 percent you get 100 conversions, and a commission of 250 taka each gives an income of 25000 taka and an effective commission of 5 taka per click.
Common questions
Is the commission always paid per sale?
Most affiliate programs pay a fixed amount or a percentage per completed sale, and the payment often waits until the return window closes.
