Figures are computed on your device; nothing is sent anywhere.

Formula

fryCount = pondArea * densityPerDecimal; cost = fryCount * pricePerFry

How the calculation works

The fry count multiplies the pond area measured in decimals by the number of fry you plan to stock per decimal.

Multiplying that count by the price of one fry gives the stocking cost, which is the main upfront expense of the cycle.

For a 50 decimal pond at 20 fry per decimal the count is 1,000 fry, and at 3 taka each the cost is 3,000 taka.

Common mistakes

When to use it

Worked example

A 50 decimal pond stocked at 20 fry per decimal needs 1,000 fry, which at 3 taka each cost 3,000 taka.

Fry count 1,000.00
Cost ৳3,000.00

Common questions

Why is the pond area given in decimal?

Decimal is the unit most often used for pond size in Bangladesh, and one decimal is about 435.6 square feet, so the density per decimal must be matched to that unit.
