Prepaid Recharge Calculator
Shows how many days a prepaid balance lasts at a daily cost and how much top-up is needed to reach a target number of days.

Formula
How the calculation works
The calculator divides the current balance by the daily cost of the pack to find how many full days it will cover.
It compares that number with your target days and, if there is a shortfall, multiplies the missing days by the daily cost.
The top-up figure is rounded up to the nearest taka so you never fall a little short when buying a recharge.
Common mistakes
- Forgetting taxes and fees that mobile operators cut from a recharge before the daily cost is applied.
- Counting the balance in days instead of taka, which confuses the daily cost with the amount of money left.
When to use it
- Use it before a long trip to check whether your prepaid balance will last until you return.
- Use it to work out exactly how much to recharge so a pack stays active for a set number of days.
Worked example
Balance 100 taka at 5 taka a day: 20 days of service, and for a 30 day target you must add 50 taka.
Common questions
How is the days figure calculated?
Days equals the current balance divided by the daily cost, ignoring taxes and fees that operators may also deduct.
