Attendance Based Salary Calculator
Works out the daily rate from a monthly salary and the working days and then pays only for the days actually present.

Formula
How the calculation works
Enter the monthly salary in Taka before any deduction or allowance is applied.
Enter the number of working days in the month and the days the employee was actually present.
The tool divides the salary by the working days to get the daily rate and multiplies that by the present days for the payable salary.
Common mistakes
- Dividing by 30 or 31 instead of the real working days, which lowers the daily rate and underpays every absent day.
- Counting a paid holiday or weekly off as absent, which unfairly cuts the salary for a day the employee was entitled to.
When to use it
- Use it to settle a month where an employee was absent for a few days without a full leave balance to cover them.
- Use it to check a payslip, since dividing salary by the right working days is where most attendance deductions go wrong.
Worked example
On a monthly salary of 30000 Taka with 26 working days and 24 days present, the daily rate is about 1154 Taka and the payable salary is about 27692 Taka.
Common questions
How should I treat a half day of work in this calculator?
Count a half day as 0.5 in the present days field so the daily rate is applied to the exact fraction of the day worked.
