Formula
How the calculation works
The ticket cost is the fare times the number of passengers, and the baggage cost is the extra kilos times the per-kilo rate.
Adding any other fees gives the total, which is what a trip really costs before you land.
Extra baggage is often charged per kilo, so weighing bags before the airport can save a lot.
Common mistakes
- Forgetting that the ticket price is per passenger, not for the whole group.
- Ignoring seat and meal fees, which some airlines add on top of the fare.
When to use it
- Use it to estimate the full flight cost for a group before booking.
- It is not a fare quote; real prices move with dates and availability.
Worked example
Two tickets at 45000 plus 10 kg of baggage at 1500 per kg and 3000 in fees cost 108000 taka.
Common questions
Does it include the return ticket?
Only if you add both legs; enter the total ticket cost for the whole trip.
