Figures are computed on your device; nothing is sent anywhere.

Formula

ধাপ ১: stepsNeeded = (targetDistanceKm × 100000) / strideLengthCm। ধাপ ২: caloriesBurned = stepsNeeded × weightKg × 0.0005।

How the calculation works

The steps needed are the target distance in centimetres divided by your stride length.

The calories use a simple rule of the steps times weight times a small factor.

A longer stride means fewer steps for the same distance, so the step goal falls.

Common mistakes

When to use it

Worked example

With a 70 cm stride, walking 8 km needs about 11429 steps, which burns roughly 400 calories at 70 kg.

Steps needed 11,428.57
Calories burned 400.00

Common questions

How do I measure my stride length?

Walk ten normal steps, measure the total distance and divide by ten, which gives a reliable average stride.

Is the calorie figure exact?

No, it is an estimate, because pace, terrain and fitness all change how much energy a step really uses.
