Figures are computed on your device; nothing is sent anywhere.

Formula

chance = clamp((myScore - cutoff) / (maxScore - cutoff) * 100, 0, 100); gap = myScore - cutoff

How the calculation works

The calculator subtracts the cutoff from your score to find how far above the cutoff you are.

It divides that gap by the room between the cutoff and the maximum score, so a score sitting at the maximum gives the full 100 percent.

The result is clamped between 0 and 100 percent, so scores below the cutoff show no chance instead of a negative number.

Common mistakes

When to use it

Worked example

If your score is 80, the cutoff is 65 and the maximum is 100, your chance is (80 - 65) / (100 - 65) x 100 = 42.86 percent.

Chance 14.00%
Shortfall ৳5.00

Common questions

Is this admission chance an official prediction?

No, it is only a rough guide built from your score and the cutoff, so always check the official merit list published by the institution.
