Figures are computed on your device; nothing is sent anywhere.

Formula

monthlyGross = monthlyFee * studentCount; monthlyNet = monthlyGross - travelCostPerMonth; yearlyGross = monthlyGross * 12; yearlyNet = monthlyNet * 12

How the calculation works

The tool multiplies the monthly fee by the number of students to get the gross monthly income.

It then subtracts the monthly travel cost to return the net amount you keep each month.

Finally it multiplies both monthly figures by twelve to show the yearly gross and net income.

Common mistakes

When to use it

Worked example

A monthly fee of 2000 across 5 students gives 10000 a month, and after 1500 travel cost the net is 8500, so the net for a year is 102000 taka.

Monthly gross 10,000.00
Monthly net 8,500.00
Yearly gross 120,000.00
Yearly net 102,000.00

Common questions

Do I get the fee every month of the year?

Not always; holidays and exam breaks usually reduce one or two months, so use a realistic month count when planning.
