The calculator multiplies the number of checked bags by the fee for each one and adds the seat and transfer charges.

It adds that extras total to the advertised fare to get the true cost of the trip before any taxes at the airport.

Dividing by the number of passengers then gives the real cost each traveller pays for the booking.
